About Us

Hi I’m Douglas. I’ve been working as a Dentist for over 12 years and in
the Cambridge area for the last 9.

 

I trained in Manchester straight out of school and qualified in 2012. I completed my postgraduate training in Surrey including completing a
postgraduate certificate in Primary Dental Care and membership into the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.

As an experienced Dentist, my patients appreciate the warmth, professional integrity, and open communication that define my dental practice. I’m determined to help my patients understand their
own dental health and work together to achieve long lasting, pain-free
oral health.

I am particularly interested in the link between dental and mental health.
Helping patients overcome dental phobias and returning the confidence
people should feel showing their smile.

As well as standard general dentistry I am trained in the Invisalign
Straightening system as well as advanced surgical techniques, including
the placement of implants for tooth replacement.

I’m a keen sportsman in my spare time, I enjoy playing Rugby, Tennis and Hockey. Whenever I get the chance to get up a mountain I also love to ski. I also enjoy creating and building at home. I also dabble in carpentry, 3D modelling and printing, electronics and DIY.
